2018 marks the landmark 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day.
First observed in 1988, World AIDS Day was initiated by health ministers from around the world who called for a spirit of social tolerance and a greater awareness of HIV/AIDS on an international scale.
When is World AIDS Day this year? Always observed on December 1. This year, World AIDS Day is on Saturday, December 1, 2018.
What is the 2018 World AIDS Day Theme? Every year, World AIDS Day focuses on a single theme.
This year, the theme for the 2017 World AIDS Day observance is "Know your status", promoting self-testing, community-based testing and multidisease testing which are all helping people to know their HIV status -- without the stigma that still deters people from taking an HIV test. 
World AIDS Day materials are designed to underscore the importance of awareness of the disease and its effects on family, friends, local neighborhoods and nations around the globe.

World AIDS Day In Your Neighborhood
• Wear a red ribbon as a symbol of hope to work, school or clubs - or distribute red ribbons at community gatherings.
• Organize a candlelight vigil at a community center or at a public park and invite local performers and speakers.
• Decorate a World AIDS Day tree or bulletin board to display in a local library or courthouse in memory of those who have died of AIDS.
• Write a letter or editorial to your local newspaper urging news coverage of World AIDS Day. 
• Set up a table or booth at an existing community event to display HIV/AIDS exhibits, posters, flyers, or brochures.
• Send an World AIDS Day e-card to friends and family urging their support for AIDS awareness.

World AIDS Day At Work
• Ask your employer to help establish December 1 as a day to address the issue of HIV/AIDS in your workplace
• Educate employees about the prevention of HIV/AIDS: display posters, flyers, brochures, invite guest speakers, provide information through employee newsletters, E-mail messages and Web pages.
• Have your company sponsor community events by donating products to local HIV/AIDS programs, organize an AIDS fundraising events (run, walk, bike) or set up a display in the office lobby.

• Sponsor a poster, T-shirt, exhibit, or bumper sticker design contest for the this year's theme
• Create a special HIV/AIDS writing assignment for December 1 : essay, poem, book report, brochure, poster or research report.
• Distribute red ribbons and information about HIV/AIDS at an exhibit set up in the school.

शख्सियत :रश्मि ताई जो कभी सहपाठी थे अब हमसफ़र हैं 'हमराही' हैं। जी हाँ आप ठीक समझे हैं। हम बात कर रहें हैं 'वाहिनी साहब' रश्मि ताई ,अब रश्मि ठाकरे की। हर कामयाब मर्द के पीछे एक औरत होती है यह विश्वास तब और भी घना -गाढ़ा हो जाता है जब  सौम्यता  और शालीनता की नायाब मिसाल रश्मि ताई से मुखातिब होते हैं। एक आम मध्य वर्गीय परिवार से आईं हैं आप। आपके व्यक्तित्व पे मातुश्री (रश्मि ताई की  माता श्री मती मीणा ताई  )की गहरी छाप है। आप रंगभूमि में ही रहती हैं मेकअप मैन  की तरह. आपने उद्धव जी को सजाया संवारा है। पहले जे. जे. स्कूल आफ आर्ट्स में सहपाठी और अब जीवन संगनी बनकर उनकी अनाम राजनीतिक गुरु और सलाकार रहीं हैं आप। आगे भी ये सफर यूं ही नए क्षितिज नापेगा। आप ने ही हिन्दू हृदय सम्राट बाला केशव  प्रबोधनकर ठाकरे से उनका राजनीतिक वारिस उद्धव जी को बनाये जाने का वचन उनके जीते जी ले लिया था। आप एक अन्नपूर्णा साबित हुई हैं मातोश्री के लिए जो बाला साहब के बीमार होने पर उनकी कुशल पूछने आते सभी आम अउ ख़ास सैनिकों को  अल्पाहार क्या चाव से भरपेट भोजन आग्रह पूर्वक करवातीं थीं। आप लेंस के पी

"भीड़ का कोई चेहरा नहीं होता। भीड़ अनाम होती है ,उन्मादी होती है।" तीसहजारी कोर्ट की घटना को मानव निर्मित कहा जाए ,स्वयंचालित ,स्वत : स्फूर्त या हालात की उपज ?बहस हो सकती है इस मुद्दे पर। मान लीजिये नवंबर २ ,२०१९ तीसहजारी घटना-क्रम लापरवाही का परिणाम था ,जिस की सज़ा तुरत -फुरत माननीय उच्चन्यायालय,दिल्ली ने सुना दी। पूछा जा सकता है : नवंबर ४,२०१९  को जो कुछ साकेत की अदालत और कड़कड़ -डूमाअदालत में  घटा वह भी लापरवाही का परिणाम था। क्या इसका संज्ञान भी तुरता तौर पर दिल्ली की उस अदालत ने लिया। तर्क दिया गया गोली चलाने से पहले पूलिस ने अश्रु गैस के गोले क्यों नहीं दागे ,लाठी चार्ज से पहले वार्निंग क्यों नहीं दी। उत्तर इसका यह भी हो सकता है :क्या जो कुछ घटा नवंबर २ को उसकी किसी को आशंका थी? यह एक दिन भी कचहरी के और दिनों जैसा ही था। जो कुछ घटा तात्कालिक था ,स्पोटेनिअस था ,चंद-क्षणों की गहमा गहमी और बस सब कुछ अ-प्रत्याशित ? तर्क दिया गया ,पुलिस धरने पर बैठने के बजाय देश की सबसे बड़ी अदालत में क्यों नहीं गई। हाईकोर्ट के तुरता फैसले के खिलाफ ? चार नवंबर को अपना आपा खोने वाले  भाडू (भा
